This module reviews how to diagnose and manage the treatment path of febrile infants, focusing on the importance of taking an extremely thorough patient and family history; knowing standards of care and how the treatment path can vary depending age, symptoms and risk factors of the patient; and educating parents about the risks of a serious condition and why a sepsis workup is necessary in these instances.
