This module reviews the appropriate identification of spinal cord compression and the applicable patient management. Emphasis is placed upon the recognition of risk factors, the essential nature of imaging to detect the condition, and the need for coordinated interprofessional care. Effective communication with the healthcare team as well as the patient and family is discussed.
