Wranick, MS, MA, CCC-SLP Susan, a Milwaukee native, is a national speaker, author, linguist and medical professional passionate about communication, quality of life, and giving voice to other people's voices. She began her career as a translator/interpreter for the Italian Ministry of Defense and later moved to clinical work as a speech language pathologist. Media appearances include ABC, CBS, public radio and TEDx. Clients include the Smithsonian and National Geographic. Susan speaks on a variety of subjects, including aphasia, better brain health, clear communication, dementia, ethics and eating, and living successfully with Parkinson's Disease. She is in private practice in Washington, DC, where she treats speech, memory and swallowing disorders related to dementia, stroke and Parkinson's Disease in the adult and geriatric population.
