Activity Description: The Glycemic Management in the Hospital course is designed to help clinicians effectively manage the hospitalized patient with diabetes with the goal of decreasing morbidity, mortality, length of stay and improving patient outcomes. Pre, peri and post operative management will also be addressed, as well as how to prepare the person with diabetes for safe discharge from the hospital.
