While these videos go into detail regarding patient settings and starting the ventilator, please know that set up and general management of the ventilators will continue to fall under the scope of respiratory therapy and will not be an expectation of PACU nurses. This SITEL will help you familiarize yourself with the layout of these ventilators so you can recognize alarms and understand basic troubleshooting options.
