This course increases the learner’s familiarity with Serotonin as an important neurotransmitter in the brain, the medications that can cause Serotonin Syndrome (SS), how to identify it based on symptoms and when to contact the provider. By taking this course, the learner will understand how to treat the symptoms of a patient with SS.
