This comprehensive lecture series provides an in-depth exploration of regional anesthesia, focusing on both foundational principles and advanced clinical applications. Designed for first-time learners or anesthesia providers seeking to refine their skills, the course covers the anatomy, pharmacology, and techniques essential to effective regional anesthesia. Through a structured series of lectures, participants will learn the indications, contraindications, and complications of neuraxial and peripheral nerve blocks, with emphasis on ultrasound-guided techniques. Special sessions will highlight region-specific approaches (upper extremity, lower extremity, trunk, and neuraxial blocks), patient selection, and strategies for optimizing perioperative analgesia and outcomes.
