About this Course: This course provides a foundational understanding of electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), a critical tool for assessing fetal well-being during pregnancy and labor. Learners will explore the components of EFM—including fetal heart rate patterns and uterine activity—and gain essential skills in recognizing, describing, and interpreting baseline characteristics, variability, accelerations, and decelerations. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge to apply standardized EFM terminology in clinical interpretation.
