This asynchronous module provides targeted education for nursing and therapy clinicians in response to identified deficiencies from the recent MHHC Department of Health survey. The course reinforces best practices in plan of care review, diagnosis-specific emergency protocol documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure timely initiation and completion of all ordered services. Clinicians will learn to verify that patient-specific safety measures, such as hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia protocols are accurately reflected in the plan of care and to follow the appropriate add-on discipline process when additional services are required. Completion of this course supports compliance with regulatory standards and promotes safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care.
