SLP FEES vs MBS: Evidence-Based Comparison & Practical Guidance Description The purpose of this course is to improve clinicians’ understanding of FEES and MBS fundamentals. This course will focus on comparing both instrumental studies and using evidence to decipher when to use each study. It will delve into comparing strengths, limitations, and evidence of each. This course will also include practical tips for clinical decision making. Suggested Audience: SLP Difficulty Level Advanced – Includes in-depth theory, concepts, and applications of information and/or techniques that are presented beyond the Essential Level which includes core theory, concepts, and applications. Speaker Laura Glowacki, MS, CCC-SLP earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola College in Maryland in 2008. She began her career in subacute rehabilitation for 14 years before transitioning to acute care at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital.
