Objectives
- Assess for damage to the hospital as the result of internal equipment failure, and natural or man-made disasters.
- Initiate emergency shutdown procedures to prevent or minimize secondary events such as fires or explosions.
- To determine if the facility is safe to defend in place or that the hospital is unsafe for occupancy.
