This course is an introduction to the CAM-ICU and contains assessment quiz

Objectives

  • Staff will be able to verbalize the difference between delirium and dementia by the end of this module
  • Staff will identify the four diagnostic features of the CAM-ICU by the completion of this module
  • Staff will be able to describe the steps necessary to perform each diagnostic feature of the CAM-ICU
  • Staff will be able to describe the diagnostic features that MUS be positive to determine if a patient is delirious
