This is a four hour course designed to make bedside nurses feel more comfortable caring for patients and their loved ones during the end of life process.  As a nurse to care for someone at the end of their lives is an honor, and something many nurses do not feel comfortable with.  We will receive signs and symptoms often seen at the end of life, and management options available.  There will also be an emphasis on communication during this vulnerable time, as this is the part the majority of nurses remain uncertain about.
