This course reviews how to identify and respond appropriately to a patient with a postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Emphasis is placed upon timely recognition of risk factors and prevention of PPH. In the event of a PPH, the learner is taught the knowledge, skills and communication techniques necessary to implement an effective management strategy.
