This course reviews the history of cesarean delivery, as well as the risks and benefits of cesarean delivery versus vaginal birth. Appropriate communication techniques with patients/family and healthcare team members are discussed. Advantages of a TOLAC with emphasis on decreasing rates of cesarean delivery are presented.
