  • At the completion of this presentation, the learner will identify proper procedure, steps, and protocol for ordering blood transfusion
  • At the completion of this presentation, the learner will verify that a patient has a complete and current Ident-A-Band.
  • At the completion of this presentation, the learner will administer blood and blood products safely, following MSMH policy and procedures
  • At the completion of this presentation, the learner will identify and treat signs and symptoms of a blood transfusion reaction
  • At the completion of this presentation, the learner will document appropriately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
