- Overview of the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics in the treatment of infections and how it relates to antimicrobial resistance
- Review new antimicrobial agents, diagnostic modalities, and select adverse events associated with anti-infective therapies
- Review important drug interactions associated with antimicrobial therapy.
- To review the role of antibiotic stewardship to improve patient outcome and reduction in healthcare cost.
