Objectives

- Participants will demonstrate an increased understanding of local jurisdictions’ medical review policies regarding returning to driving after a neurological insult
- Participants will demonstrate understanding of how to use the Occupational Therapy –Performance Appraisal for Driving (OT-PAD) to assist with making decisions regarding community mobility
- Participants will discuss the management of secondary complications during the rehabilitation of patients with anoxic brain injury
- Participants will identify 2 built in accessibility features of phones and tablets to be used by persons with neurological impairments
- Participants will identify 3 types of technology for clients and their caregivers to assess the home environment and increase safety and independence
