General Objectives

• Participants will be able to evaluate and diagnose various foot and ankle musculoskeletal conditions in the athletic population.
• Participants will review risk factors associated with various foot and ankle injuries.
• Participants will be able to utilize research and tests to determine risk of foot and ankle injury.
• Participants will be able to design and implement injury prevention programs to minimize these injuries.
• Participants will be able to design and implement a comprehensive treatment plan to rehabilitate athletes with a variety of different foot and ankle injuries.
• Participants will review sport-specific return to play criteria and be able to utilize criteria to make recommendations for athletes with a variety of different conditions.

• Participant will be able to name signs and symptoms of common foot and ankle injuries in sports.
• Participant will review conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle injuries.
• Participant will be able to identify foot and ankle injuries through diagnostic imaging.
