General Objectives

• Participants will be able to evaluate and diagnose rotator cuff pathology in the athletic population.
• Participants will review risk factors associated with various rotator cuff injuries.
• Participants will be able to utilize research and tests to determine risk of rotator cuff injury.
• Participants will be able to design and implement injury prevention programs to minimize these injuries.
• Participants will be able to design and implement a comprehensive treatment plan to rehabilitate athletes with rotator cuff injury or surgery.
• Participants will review sport-specific return to play criteria and be able to utilize criteria to make recommendations for athletes with a variety of different rotator cuff conditions.

• Identify signs and symptoms of rotator cuff disease.
• Understand conservative and surgical management of rotator cuff disease.
• Prescribe conservative and post-operative management of rotator cuff disease.
