  • The learner will be able to: Identify common complications in the cardiac ICU patient and describe treatment modalities
  • Describe methods of invasive monitoring
  • Recognize clinical situations that would require pacing and identify methods of basic pacing
  • Identify indications for PA catheters, recognize appropriate and abnormal waveforms/PA values, and safe management techniques for PA catheters
