This program is designed for investigators, study coordinators, and others who are responsible for facilitating and implementing specific components of research studies.
This course is a foundation for further discussion and training in face to face forums.
The purpose of this program is to:
- one, provide an overview of the primary roles and responsibilities of the research team in a research study, and
- two, provide the relevant content and tools needed to facilitate the implementation and conduct of a clinical research study.
Objectives
- Identify ethical obligation for clinical research team members in their role with human subject protection and study rigor.
- Explain development of regulations for research with human subjects.
- Describe how regulations for human subject protection are applied.
- Describe protocol implementation as it applies to all research team members.
