General Objectives
Participants will be able to evaluate and diagnose various foot and ankle musculoskeletal conditions in the athletic population.
Participants will review risk factors associated with various foot and ankle injuries.
Participants will be able to utilize research and tests to determine risk of foot and ankle injury.
Participants will be able to design and implement injury prevention programs to minimize these injuries.
Participants will be able to design and implement a comprehensive treatment plan to rehabilitate athletes with a variety of different foot and ankle injuries.
Participants will review sport-specific return to play criteria and be able to utilize criteria to make recommendations for athletes with a variety of different conditions.
Course Objectives
Participant will be able to name signs and symptoms of common foot and ankle injuries in sports.
Participant will review conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle injuries.
Participant will be able to identify foot and ankle injuries through diagnostic imaging.
