The practice of medicine is evolving quickly. Today graduating physicians from residency programs must be armed with the knowledge and skills to adopt new technology as it comes along to enhance patient care. One of these new technology advances is point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).  The utility and applicability of bedside ultrasound is tremendous. Bedside ultrasound can aid in diagnostic and clinical decision support. The focus of this curriculum will be a focused cardio-thoracic assessment. The purpose would be to enhance resident knowledge and appreciation for bedside ultrasound technology and begin to develop the skills of bedside ultrasound to enhance their clinical exam.
