Daniel Marchalik, MD, MA is the Medical Director of Physician Well-being and the chair of the Frontline Associate Well-being Committee at MedStar Health. He is the Director of the Kidney Stone Program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and an Associate Professor of Urology at the Georgetown University School of Medicine where he chairs the Committee on Medical Student Well-being. Dr. Marchalik completed his undergraduate studies and medical degree at Rutgers University, and his internship and residency training with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Marchalik received his master's degree in English Literature from Georgetown University and currently serves as the creator and director of the Literature and Medicine Track at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is the author of a monthly column in The Lancet.
