Objectives
- Describe how pain management affects the patent's experience of care.
- Describe what pain is and the process of assessment and reassessment of a patient's pain level.
- Develop a pain management plan of care for an individual patient using a multi-modal approach
- Educate patients and families about pain management, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Evaluate the patient's response to pain management interventions.
