			The purpose of this module is to review the 5 drugs that may be administered on non-oncology units with limited chemotherapy competency including rituximab, paclitaxel, fluorouracil, bortezomib, and cyclophosphamide. This module will review the drug, classification, mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, indications, side effects, interactions, nursing considerations, and patient education. show less
		Objectives
- Describe hypersensitivity reactions and management using the clinician driven protocol
- Describe tumor lysis syndrome and effective prevention/ management
- Explain vesicant extravasation and management using the clinical driven protocol
- Identify the classification, mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, indications, side effects, interactions, nursing considerations, and patient education for rituximab, paclitaxel, fluorouracil, bortezomib, and cyclophosphamide
