Objectives
- Describe the benefits Bayesian software over standard calculations in determining the vancomycin dose to achieve target AUC.
- Describe the InsightRX dashboard components and how they are used in determining an appropriate vancomycin regimen for each patient.
- Know how to access InsightRX from Powerchart.
- Understand the concept of AUC dosing and how it differs from traditional trough-based vancomycin dosing.
- Understand the predictive elements of the InsightRX tool and how they may be used in conjunction with clinical patient information to arrive at an appropriate vancomycin regimen.
