Li-032311 OHDSI Training Program - Introduction to Analysis
Type

Credit
Description
The tutorials will provide attendees with foundational training regardining the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model (OMOP CDM) and the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) organization, their technical resources, and products.
Background on OHDSI:
OHDSI augments and complements HealthCatalyst, and they will be used in tandem. OHDSI has a common data model (CDM) and tools optimized to answer ~80% of advanced clinical analytics without needing to build SAMs or write code in SQL or R. The OHDSI web application lets clinicians and analysts partner in asking robust diagnostic and predictive questions; and the OHDSI tools automate the creation of the SQL and R code to answer those questions.
