This course will provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary overview of the liver transplant process. It will begin with a review of the approach to transplant evaluation and listing, then this will be followed by a review of nursing care in end-stage liver disease. Next, a discussion of liver transplant surgery will follow this, as well as a review of post-operative surgical care, post-operative nursing care, and long-term post-transplant management of patients after liver transplant.
