This course is intended for those associates that plan to facilitate tabletop scenarios related to Restraints, Seclusion, De-escalation, and Use of Force Policies. The course highlights and allows practice related to the current policies on restraints, seclusion, de-escalation and use of force. It includes a document that you may download and save and/or print out. It includes how to run a tabletop simulation, multiple area specific scenarios to choose from, learner action checklists, debriefing, and evaluation information.

- Identify an escalating situation.
- Demonstrate de-escalation communication techniques.
- Notify appropriate members of the healthcare team if de-escalation is not effective in order to escalate care.
- Demonstrate how to notify and incorporate Public Safety/Security Personnel into the situation.
