This course is designed to help better understand the progression of returning to running after injury or surgery. This course will cover running related injuries and common faults in running gait, pre-running exercises, guidelines for returning to running after injury or surgery, and corrective exercises based on running assessments. At the completion of this course, participants will understand how to safely progress patients to running after injury or surgery along with being able to identify common running gait faults associated with injury or surgery and recommend appropriate corrective exercises.

- Identify gait abnormalities associated with running injuries.
- Prescribe exercises prior to beginning a return to run progression.
- Prescribe corrective exercises based on running assessment to reduce symptom exacerbation or risk of re-injury.
