This education will cover the unique aspects of caring for the patient with Pulmonary Hypertension. Pathophysiology and available treatments/medications will be discussed. There will be a review of MWHC policy on the care and management of this patient population as well as return demonstration of Priming IV access for IV Prostacyclin infusions. Safety considerations for IV medications will be discussed.

- The learner will describe the pathophysiology of Pulmonary Hypertension and appropriate assessments to perform.
- The learner will differentiate between different medications and side effects of the medications used to treat PH.
- The learner will demonstrate priming the IV access for infusion of IV Prostacyclin medications.
