This interprofessional continuing education simulation activity is for both providers and nurses caring for patients post open heart surgery.  The simulation includes scenarios related to Code Blue responses to an Open Heart Surgery patient.  Emphasis is on the team, communication, roles, equipment, and algorithm to follow when there is an emergent need to reopen a patient's chest post cardiac surgery.
