The course will teach participations how to review each provider and provider’s practice information for the quarterly data validation process. The goal of data validation is to ensure the quality and integrity of MedStar Health’s professional provider data. Assuring data accuracy is vital to health plan provider directories, authorization and referral approvals, and claims processing.  It is imperative that all provider and practice information is thoroughly reviewed and verified as this data feeds many downstream systems to include MP3, provider profiles, the MedStar Health website, MedConnect Find A Doc and Appointment Reminders to Patients from SmartSource/Tavoca and Tonic.
