This MGUH Transplant Education & Academic Conference Hour: Total Pancreatectomy and Autologous Islet Cell Transplant (TPAIT) offers 1.75 Continuing Professional Education credits. Through collaboration between the MGTI Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff, a transplant education committee was formed in order to help bridge the gap in transplant knowledge expressed by inpatient nursing staff and APPs alike. We partnered together to address gaps in knowledge and through academic conference hours, we will aim to broaden the knowledge behind the care of the solid organ transplant patient.
