Presented in lecture format, this course reviews topics reflected on the “Maternal Newborn Nursing”, National Certification Corporation (NCC) examination. Elements of the examination are discussed, followed by a review of selected content. The major components include "pregnancy, birth risk factors & complications", maternal postpartum assessment, management & education", and newborn assessment & management". Practice questions are integrated throughout the presentation.
