Objectives
- In this course, you will learn how to conduct the Admission Orientation for every patient at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The process includes:
- Learning which resources to bring to each Admission Orientation conversation and how to introduce the resources to your patient and their loved ones
- Understanding the scripting of a successful Admission Orientation conversation
- Instruction on how to document the conversation accurately in MedConnect
- Understanding how compliance will be tracked to ensure all patients are being provided with the information
