This course offers 2.75 Continuing Professional Education credits to Nurses and Physicians. To claim the credits, the course must be completed prior to December 31, 2024. About this Course: This live hybrid event will showcase what occurs during a deposition when there is an adverse outcome in the perinatal setting. Obstetric and neonatal clinicians will have an opportunity to see simulated depositions conducted by MedStar Health defense attorneys using real cases. Ways in which documentation can help or hinder liability will be highlighted and discussed. Participants will be able to interact with and ask questions of MedStar Health Risk Management and defense attorneys.
Participants can attend live or virtually via Teams.
