Objectives
- Identify and assess the needs of an athlete (or team visitor) experiencing a medical emergency.
- Utilize effective team communication and dynamics in stabilization of an athlete or team visitor experiencing a medical emergency.
- Manage medical emergencies/sports injuries using equipment and resources available.
- Demonstrate effective BLS principles, if necessary, during care of the athlete or team visitor.
- Demonstrate effective management of common athlete injuries on the court.
