This course is designed for CMA participants to experience hands on set up, maintenance of equipment and accurate assessment of patients. Participants will perform clinical skills using EBP guidelines such as proper selection and application of the BP cuff. This course supports quality of care and patient safety through improved comfort level, utilizing simulation for clinical and communication skills. The participant may encounter a standardized patient, high fidelity mannequin or task trainers in the simulation lab to practice their skills and will be evaluated by expert faculty. show less
