To provide information for staff caring for patients post operatively after bariatric surgery.  This module will ensure that those caring for the surgical bariatric patient are able to recognize the potential s/s of common metabolic and bariatric surgery complications to be sure the patient is managed appropriately.  We have also included the pt safe handling module for your convenience.This module also educates all on the StarPort site to use as a resource for pathways and care for the bariatric surgical patient.
