  • Explain the importance of updating the patient’s whiteboard as a tool for communication and care coordination
  • Explain the purpose and benefits of bedside shift report in terms of patient safety, communication, and patient engagement
  • Identify key components of an effective bedside shift report, including patient involvement, confidentiality considerations, and documentation
  • Model proper bedside shift reporting techniques through role-play and simulation exercises
