- Determine how to evaluate clinical judgment.
- Discuss the theoretical underpinnings of preceptorship.
- Distinguish competency through interactive evaluation exercises.
- Identify ways to optimize an individualized orientation plan.
- Implement techniques for delivery of effective feedback.
- Recognize the role of nurse preceptors as integral to the support of all orientees, especially those participating in the Nurse Residency Program.
