			The purpose of the Ambulatory Emergency Response: Narcan® Nasal Spray course is to train ambulatory associates to recognize opioid overdose, determine when Narcan is appropriate, and how to administer Narcan appropriately. This assessment serves as a pretest to determine your background knowledge on the administration of Narcan. show less
		Objectives
- Apply the necessary steps to provide continuous support to an overdose victim, including monitoring and basic life support, until EMS arrives
- Describe the proper steps for administering Narcan effectively
- Differentiate between a respiratory arrest requiring Narcan (naloxone) administration and a cardiac arrest requiring AED use
- Identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose. Determine when the administration of Narcan is appropriate
