This mandatory training will provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to successfully perform bedside shift report at MedStar Harbor Hospital. Content is relavent for nurses and care associates/patient care technicians in the inpatient units. The acronym I-A-M-S-A-F-E, which supports the structure of bedside shift report, will be described in detail. Learners will practice completing bedside shift report to demonstrate understanding of content and expectations.
