About this module: Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) can happen quickly and knowing what to do can save lives. In this module, you’ll learn how to recognize the early signs, understand the stages, and take the right steps at the right time. We’ll cover how to identify who’s most at risk, measure blood loss accurately, support the safe administration of uterotonics, and work with your team to respond effectively during an emergency. - Explain what postpartum hemorrhage is and describe its stages.
- Identify maternal risk factors and apply risk stratification tools.
