Description
Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) can happen quickly and knowing what to do can save lives. In this course, you’ll learn how to recognize the early signs, understand the stages, and take the right steps at the right time. We’ll cover how to identify who’s most at risk, measure blood loss accurately, support the safe administration of uterotonics, and work with your team to respond effectively during an emergency. The goal is to be prepared, act fast, and protect your patients.
The assessment challenges learners to apply evidence-based best practices in managing postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Learners will refine their ability to accurately quantify blood loss, recognize early and delayed PPH, prioritize pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, and escalate care appropriately. Detailed feedback reinforces current guidelines and strengthens rapid, confident decision-making in high-acuity obstetric emergencies.
