This course equips healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to screen for and treat patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) in an empathetic, patient-centered way. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies for having supportive, non-stigmatizing conversations and will gain access to actionable tools for making informed care decisions. The course also highlights resources and referral pathways to ensure patients are connected with the care and support they need.
