This content is designed to equip Medical Assistant Preceptors with the knowledge and strategies needed to support the successful onboarding of medical assistants. Participants will learn to differentiate the roles and responsibilities of preceptors, preceptees, and coaches, and understand the expectations of the healthcare team in fostering a positive orientation experience. The course emphasizes effective coaching techniques to promote skill development and professional growth, as well as methods to encourage critical thinking in newly hired medical assistants.
